Hello Coiners!

I'm kind of new here in the cryptocurrency world but I'm figuring things out since there is lots of information on the web.

The idea to let people buy bitcoins from a website with IDeal (the most used online payment method in The Netherlands) was running through my head. Now my question was: Is it possible to sell BTC without having them in stock? For example through a detour with an exchange company?

Any information regarding to this subject would be really helpfull!

Thank you in advance

By detour do you mean escrow in which someone serve as a intermediary between the buyer and seller. As far i know you must have the BTC deposited in an exchange before you can sell or buy likewise in an escrow.

I believe he is asking if there is way to buy/sell bitcoins directly from webs I guess ... like login to website, click buy 1 btc, checkout - > provide wallet number -> pay via paypal for example -> transaction done..
As far as I understand it this way.

I guess currently besides btc-e or similar there is no other way - but truly would love to see option like listed... Or I missed something as well ? o.O

I suppose the way to do so would be to sell the bitcoin but with a delay in delivery. For example, you sell a bitcoin at current exchange price plus a premium with a delivery time of 4 hours after transaction is paid. This gives you time to buy the coin, get confirmation, then do the transfer.

However, if the buyer pays by means of a CC, there is the possibility of chargeback, leaving you with a loss.

probably best to use an escrow service and miners that have BTC available via exchanges like localbitcoins.com

not impossible.

Thank for all your answers! What I ment was that maybe I could let customers buy BTC on my website, directly from an exchange buro or other service. Charge something like 2% from the total order and there you go.

I know there is a risk that the value suddenly becomes higher and lose money, but you can calculate the average flucturation and add some fee to it to insure yourself.

Maybe it is worth to give it a shot
