Hi, do you guys know if it's possible to keep the bitcoins (ie, have them transferred to your own wallet) from either bitpay or coinbase?
I'm getting this feeling both want you to exchange the btc to your local currency in order to 'protect you from volatility' - but I'm looking to keep the raw coins.

Thank you for any insight.

Yes. On Coinbase (not sure about Bitpay) you have both a BTC and USD balance.

You can keep the BTC with Bitpay too. I've heard that you can choose to keep only a certain percentage as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

You can keep all Bitcoin, or a percentage of your sales in Bitcoin.
