It did used to be 50 posts when it was first put in place... I remember that because I had joined then it was put in place and I was stuck in the newbie section for a little while till I could get white listed.

It's still (or I think) 50 post before you can have images in your signature.

so how long should I wait before I can PM someone ? i need to contact a person nickname DoubleC, I think he is admin of bitcoinpark.com, because I make a mistake: double sending to an expire address. That annoys me so much since you can use old address at mt.gox. And no email address or something to contact the site manager on the website!

Sure it's annoying, but how else do you expect to make someone earn *somewhat* of a reputation before communicating with the community at large? Think of it as a IQ test to get into something like mensa. It keeps most of the idiots out.

It's possible, but not nearly as annoying, to give everyone the benefit of doubt before applying restrictions.

True, maybe a system like reddit would be better, let the community decide which posts and posters should be upvoted and downvoted, and individuals can then decide which posts they will ignore.

I can't say that I'm a fan of this procedure. I've seen many other forums do it in many different ways and most handle things much better. I have only seen one who has done it in this way, but I don't think they did it for the same reasons.

As much as you want to say "Thank You", you should know that there are 10x more people behind you to say "That Sucks!"...
People will create multiple accounts to slander a thread.
