Since i,m uncertain and naturally paranoid i thought it would be a good idea to ask here what the easiest and safest way is to backup a wallet.
Also is there any tool available to protect against wallet theft besides the be careful and check this and that posts?

Beside the paranoid ideas of only use a clean installation, don't use USB flash drive because they can be infected etc, just encrypt your wallet and copy the wallet.dat file to a flash drive or external hard drive and you'll be fine. But as always, if you're not really sure what you're doing, begin with a small amount of BTC in your wallet for testing.

Easy. Encrypt your wallet and then back it up. If your wallet software doesn't have a feature that allows you to back up and encrypt your wallet, you need to get different software.

Scam coins? Sadly if you look hard enough I think most (pre mine-insta mine-scam start-etc) may fall under that if you scrutinize enough.
Theres a few (http://altcoins.com/scamcoins)sites but beware of biasness  Roll Eyes

What i mean is that i sometimes see a new altcoin and people right away post its a scam.
How do they know or what do they see that they classify it as a scam?
For example the turbocoin...the first post i see something about scam wallet.
I saw this with a lot of other new coins that quickly turn toward saying its a scam.
