Every time I login and try to post I get the error:

The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later.

Which is incorrect. Why must I wait 6 minutes after logging in to make a post?

Additionally - if I press the 'back' button, wait 6 minutes, then press post I get an error screen saying that I've already posted what I'm trying to post. But if I go back to the thread/forum and refresh, this is not true.

Then, if I click Reply again, type in my reply, and try to post it I must wait ANOTHER 6 minutes.

Ridiculously annoying. Is this forum hosted by idiots? PHP isn't even hard.

It's not a bug. Log-ins and attempted posts count. You must make sure to wait the full 6 minutes.

The problem lies on your end.  Are you using TOR by chance?

It's probably not that, just not waiting the full 6 minutes. The time you have to wait goes down the more activity you get. Mine is only 30 seconds now.

it's not a bug but rather an annoying rule (for members with low activity) that login's count as posts and require the standard waiting time (360 seconds) before being able to post. but if you reach somewhere around 30 activity the wait time between posts would be around a minute.
