I can't wait to see someone standing on the side of the road wearing dirty clothes and holding a cardboard sign with a bitcoin address written on it in felt pen.

Not that such an image has anything to do with this request, of course.

If he wasn't in a bitcoin forum you would be surprised how many people do just part with their cash. I see so many customers ripped off by these overseas call centers its not funny. Cry

Tell you what: let's use your ebay rating as collateral.  Create an ebay listing; let someone buy it; and that person lends you the money.  If you pay it back, you get a positive review; default and you'll get burned back at least a little.  People will laugh less if you have at least a little skin in this game.

Given the volatility, this has the potential to go very badly. What happens if Bitcoin rallies and goes back up to the $15-20 range just before you're supposed to pay it back?

Why not just sell something on ebay then, and stop behaving very suspiciously on a bitcoin forum?
