i fired up my moon wallet just now and was doing a transfer, I put the amount 100K and it asked for my password, wallet was encrypted and backed up... I entered it and immediately I saw two withdrawals one for 18 million and one for 35K, there was nothing I could do to stop or reverse it it went to these addresses, the only thing I have downloaded in the past few days is the COnyewest wallet and a few test wallet from  http://coingen.bluematt.me/  - Just warniing the community, also ae my other encrypted wallets at risk? I will be moving all my wallets to another PC before I open any up. I think this might have been in the original moon QT from the developers site, that is the only place I downloaded it from.. It was only a loss of about $150 at todays rates and it took me 30 minutes to mine early on in the release but if this would have been other valuable wallets it could have suked, i autotorade almost all my stuff and store to coinbase and convert to USD immdeiately normally... PLEASE be careful with your valuable wallets..

What did you download that could have installed a wallet stealer? If you have any idea can you let us know, there are other users that could be in the same situation as you.

if i move my dat files to a VM or another fresh computer and redowload wallets and reimport my backed up wallets will it be safe to open my other wallets if i only move the wallet dat back up file... thanks

yeah i learned, i scan everything wis MSE and antimalware, i think it might have been in the code of this particular wallet because i have had other not so valuable wallets up with no issues, about to fire up my CAGE wallet ...lol and see what happens

funny in the 15 plus years ive been around the internet ive never had anthing stolen, 2 weeks in crypto and I have almost $200 stolen,  imagine if it would have been a bitcoin wallet with 10 plus BTC..... Shocked

I uploaded my moon qt to virustotal.com and nothing found.

I suggest you do this with all your recent downloads so we can know what caused this.

You may just have a keylogger program/wallet stealer virus.

Jayke linked to an infected exe in the Moonthread faking it as the first Windows wallet for Mooncoin (bastard did the same in the Dogecoin thread). Did you download and tried this exe in the hay dayz of Mooncoin?
