hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post

I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a guide/design on how to do the testnet difficulty calculation, I understand it changed long time ago.

Thanks
energeez

Thanks for your replies guys

I'm looking into bitcoinsharp (which is an outdated C# version of bitcoinj) to get an idea of how the whole process of downloading the blockchain works. I managed to get it working for the PROD blockchain but I want to do some testing with the testnet network too. I got now the code to calculate the difficulty from the bitcoinj code so I will follow that.
