Says error above. I already used the Silicon Labs software to install the erupter, but still no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Are you running with the appropriate user privileges to interface with USB?

Try
>sudo cgminer [...your commandline options...]

Trying to mine BTC.
I learned I had to use it with 3.1.1, but it still won't work.
