the problem I see is that $1/1000 is way too low, especially given the services you provide.
I would need to create 3500 coins per day to break even with your 350 Khash/day Scrypt contract, something that even at difficulty 1 was not possible (now it's diff 4, I don't know the maths but it's like what, 150 coins per day?)
If we simply follow the maths of the services you provide then the coin should be $20/1000
yes and honestly I just stopped mining because of the price given. I do understand they are a company and cannot give out stuff/services for free/livecoin at high rates.. but this price is just.. too low If it does hit an exchange, then livechainssn't giving services out for free, they can simply go sell the coins people cash in for services. This seems like the best option for miners and livechains, or am I missing something? If livechains can't sell them, then the coin will eventually dry up, livechains will have them all.

Livecoin gambling game available at functofx.com. game is pretty simple. upload a little livecoin. You pick a number 1-10, I pick 2 numbers in the same range. If yours matches one of mine, you win 1.25x your wager. max bet is 100lvc until I see how things work out The game is currently available in coinye and bitcoin. DO NOT DEPOSIT BITCOINS YET, AS THE PAYOUTS ARE DISABLED FOR THAT COIN UNTIL I HAVE ENOUGH IN THERE TO PAY OUT WHEN I LOSE. Theres a few small issues I am working out still-- say your balance shows 1000 coins, and you bet 100.. your balance will not auto update unless BOTH: you refresh the page AND theres a minimum of 1 confirmation. The permanent location of the game will be minegamble.com, but the DNS has not propagated for it to work yet. I will be adding new coins to it, as well. Coins I am working on are already in the navigation are labeled clearly not working. As they start working it will reflect that in the game. Have fun guys, don't break my wallet

Hello,
There will be some delays with orders and so forth on the site, due to an Denial of service attack, twice as massive as the last " big " one.
We thank you for you're understanding, and look forward to doing business with you again.

I had high hopes for this, but when this coin makes 1/5th of what any other profitability is, why even bother mining it. Moving back to another coin, until exchange, then will see if it's regains mining value.

Because he has just made a base value for it the coin can never be worth less then that and im sure once its hit exchange his prices will match the coins. +1, we don't know where this coin will end up or what value people will give it. LiveChains set the value to what was thought fair at the time of release (otherwise could just go out of business when people mass buy services after mining a couple hours). im sure prices for services will change accordingly to what the given value of the coin will be when it hits exchanges. think if you were behind the wheel of LiveChains starting out this coin and you were accepting it for paid services and you get all these people mining it and you know that if that price hikes up on that coin people can dump it all into your company for services, and then what happens if the coin free falls? major loss'. companies have to protect their investments any way possible, and this is one way.

Also the wallet needs to be fixed so everyone doesn't have to do the workaround. I assume it works, I haven't even tried it yet.
Edit: Just did it. All I had to do was add the .conf file. I didn't even do all the uninstall/reinstall steps. I hit the network now.

Okay i finally have some time for this bit
The new site is about 6 hours from launch, I have most of it worked out, just need to sort the billing system to accept LiveCoins and its good to go.
Theres been some changes, one of which is the target price, all will be revealed when the site launches tonight.
New services will be available at the site launch.
Its now more profitable than it was to mine, but remember guys, this is not a coin to make you rich like bitcoin, its a coin designed to help you devolop your own services for nothing and turn a viable and stable mothly proffit
The site includes lots more information about the coin and its intended use, ill admit my info has been sketchy at best i dont always express what i mean and this coin has been one of those times....
So my advice get back to mining it for tonights launch, you might yet be supprised

Talk about DOA.. Network hashrate is about 750kh/s roughly that of 1 high end card.. No blocks solved for over 12 hours. Even the devs don't seem to be mining this?

Is this thing still alive? I have 7000 of them and no exchange to sell em on! Is there anyone in the community who is able to get it on Coinedup or one of the little exchanges?

Let's hope so eh! The coin should have a value equal to or slightly higher than Feathercoin. But it is really hard to see people paying 25 cents a coin when there are folk out there who hold 100s of thousands of them. No way are people making hundreds of thousands of dollars on this coin. But a few hundred bucks wouldn't go amiss! haha

So tell me, will the difficulty actually adjust if we manage to find a couple blocks? Or does this "retargets every block" not actually work?

Waste of time asking. This coin has been abandoned by the devs. They are now trying to get dopecoin off the ground. The retarget is broken just like the coin. Go mine something else (anything except dopecoin). So tell me, will the difficulty actually adjust if we manage to find a couple blocks? Or does this "retargets every block" not actually work?
