Why not just use bfgminer 3.10.0 supports ANTMiner.
Does it support Overclocking as well? Thanks! Yes, you can overclock by using the command "--set-device antminer:clock=x0781" where you set the hex value accordingly (x0781 = 1.6 GH/s, x0881 = 18 GH/s, x0881 = 2.0 GH/s, etc..). The guide from PaintShopPro6 explains in greater detail if needed.

I had the same problems a lot are having here and here was the solution I found that works so you can use antminers with bfgminer
just use the following command line...
\bfgminer.exe -S antminer:all --set-device antminer.freq=0781 -o POOL ADDRESS -u WORKERNAME -p WORKER PASSWORD
-S antminer:all --set-device antminer.freq=0781
is what allows bfgminer to see the antminers.
I have not tried overclocking but I assume you would change the 0781 to whatever your overclocking to.

Hi, bought today my first BitCoin Antminer. So I am totally a newbie to this and already did run into problems. Did anybody test this on W8 64bit? I installed the drivers however, it doesn't see the AntMiner; I get this: http://s27.postimg.org/sg7rfsow3/CGMiner.jpgI followed the steps and it seems fine. I'm running a HP Workstation XW6200 with Windows 8 (not 8.1) 64bit. I've got a Ubuntu laptop as well, just have to look into how to make this run on Linux, haven't found anything yet. Thanks for any help.

I use them on windows 8.1 pro, you may want to open your device manager, find the comm ports and delete them (make sure to view hidden).

Thanks dmpotter, I deactivated the COM ports and it works Ahh, very interesting. Haven't seen this step. I wonder if this will solve some Win 7 64bit issues. A lot these problems stem from people switching from CGMiner to BFGminer, but skipping the step of reinstalling the CP210 driver. I wonder if, perhaps, reinstalling the CP210 driver is working for some by resetting the com ports during re-installation.

Is it possible in bfgminer to do the "--set-device antminer.freq=4C01 " just for ONE U1 when I have 2 at the same USB hub ?? Reason is: I have 1 of 2 modified with the resistore change. So I would like to Change the Settings just for 1 of them and let the other run @2Gh/s.

I believe this is possible with CGMiner -- I haven't done it, but I came across instructions in some documentation (seems like it was on the open source readme file?). I can't find the settings for this in BFGMiner. I'll ask my partner to see if he knows. CGMiner can be very painful though (with U1's) -- I sure hope there is a way to do this with BFGminer. Please report back if you figure it out.
