Started mining a little over a month ago.  Currently running 4 R9 280X and 4 R9 290X.  Using BAMT for the 280X cards, have them running about 720-730 KH/s each.  The Sapphire BF4 290X are running in a case with Win 8.  With the heat, I can't push them past about 900 KH/s each, but can work well on the computer with I=20 in CGminer.  Mainly mining on the pools, but occasionally solo mining a few coins.

Bitcoin can help developing countries but it is important to see opportunities once they happen and not just do nothing. I wish I was here in 2010.

Hi.  I am also new to the forum.  Pretty amazing stuff going on.

Currently running ten ASIC Miner v2 Blades until the new hardware comes in.  I bought them when they were around $200 ($185-250) They were up to $600 for a while!  A weird setup but it runs fine and I haven't had any problems.  I bought wire shelves and hung the blades to help optimize the cooling.  It is a consistent setup but those things really generate a lot of heat.  I had to move them downstairs since it is usually freezing down there.  I am using the Corsair AF120 MM fans just to keep them cool. Approximately 20 days to mine one BTC thus far.  Cheers!
