I was using the PC at my University to mine the coins because my laptop is crap.. and im from the UK

About the wallet thing, im scared of downloading another dogecoin wallet and losing money there like i just lost the 750.

So i'll use my online wallet at cryptsy instead till i can sort out this laptop of mine or find a way to download a working client.

treat your wallet.dat the same way you would treat your bankcard and pin. the wallet is perfectly safe if you use it correctly. But as my friend Bay said doge-dice does make for a good online wallet.

this is used in a batch file to start your miner. It holds the various flags and parameters passed to your miner that tell it where and how to mine.

If you gave your wallet.dat to someone it is like you are both sharing a wallet. I would recommend not using that one anymore.
