Hi mtbitcoin!

It looks like Blockscan is no longer parsing blocks as of today June 9, 2014 at 10:20PM GMT?

Are you okay to check and let me know if this is the case? I'm not sure, but I've had 2 folks ask me today.

I am having signature problems with http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=SOYBEANS
Any idea how to start debugging this?

To go with http://www.gofundme.com/7ElementsSoy I want to sell 50,000 lbs of IA2053 food grade soybeans (tofu beans) for November/December delivery using counterparty, and let speculators take the risk on commodity price fluctuations.

But I have to be able to explain to people what that asset is, and the Counterwallet and blockscan seem like the most user-friendly interface I've seen so far. (for the record, it's also quite a bit better than the windows nonsense I have to use to hedge prices on the chicago board of trade)

Are you the asset owner "13JB28JQKtSp9J8uDtqyKEo8CR7mf6ykmn " and which client are you using for the signature signing? This has been tested with the QT official client

I am unable to verify the signed message above in bitcoinQT. If anyone else here has a copy of bitcoinQT running can you please check to see if you can verify the signature above?

I have sent Xnova a PM

Cheers

I have just verified that there is an issue with the counterparty wallet for message signing due to the bitcore js.

So until this is fixed you will need to sign outside using bitcoinqt or blockchain wallet

Cheers

I tried to sign a message with counterwallet, unfortunately it did not verify on blockscan. Just wanted to see if the above problem is still existent or if this has been already fixed.

I do not believe the signature signing issue has been fixed at counterwallet.co. I tried dropping them (XCP developers) a PM and also posted on the forums but have not heard back from them.

EDIT: Yup, just checked on my own, the issue has Not been fixed yet. It would help you can also contact them directly to see if they will address this issue

Looks like support for Clearinghouse XCH has been added: http://xch.blockscan.com/

Couldn't find anything related to Dogeparty XDP yet.

Awesome.

I was looking at some of the assets for which I have tokens. I can see which are locked and how many were created, but it's not so simple to find the most widely distributed tokens. The Gini coeffficient is something used for income distribution but I couldn't find the same thing for net worth which would be the closest macro measurement to what we'd see for tokens. Anyway, it would be interesting to know which tokens have been distributed evenly among the greatest number of addresses and maybe to see what the distribution is for all tokens with locked issuance across the entire XDP and XCP systems.

I have not looked into the details for the various statistical models. But when I do get to it, I think this can be grouped under a "stats" section

Having said that any kind of stats related to dispersion can be easily manipulated and might not be accurate to determine whether an asset has a fair frequency distribution.

don't dividends get listed as transactions in the blockscan block explorer?

hi,
i've been exploring the blockchain using blockscan.com. I noticed that there seems to be a number of addresses that have several assets although they have only received one or two transactions. I assume that the other assets were delivered through the dividends mechanism. So now my question: why don't dividend appear as transactions? how can i find out how many dividends a have been received (and when) by a particular address? If not through dividends, how did those assets get there?

Exhibit A: http://www.counterpartyexplorer.com/address.aspx?q=14Tut9D2fQX7NjeMped28ysr851k4Tq8Xt

I would appreciate it if someone could explain this to me :-)
