It sometimes takes a while. Just leave it open it should sync. If not then create your own .conf file

you may want to also turn off generate. do this in the same debug window and type: setgenerate false.
this will speed up the sync process.

is not really needed, but can help. create one, open with your editor and add all found addnodes with

addnode="IP address"
