Dont know exactly what you mean, but there are sites like etherscan.io where you can check, which tokens were sent to your address.
To view those tokens in eg. Mew you have to add them manually.

Yes as earlier poster wrote, just to make sure it's clear: you can receive any ERC-token to your wallet, and they can be seen from etherscan.io (search your public key).
If you try to send them using for example MyEtherWallet, and it's a new token, you probably have to add the token contract by clicking 'Add Custom Token' inside MEW.
You can get the contract adress by going to your etherscan.io wallet, clicking the token and there you see the contract adress.

So, simply put, if any ERC token is sent to your ETH wallet adress, it's safe even if you've 'added' it in MEW:

You don't need to configure my ECR20 wallet to every different tokens you may receive just you need to check your tokens if you can't sell them or not

Etherscan.io and similar services are the best choice for viewing the balance of the wallet. Their main advantage is that you do not need to enter a private key to see the balance. MEW should only be used to send tokens (or ETH) or sign messages with their private key!
