I've just opened my Multibit wallet on my MAC after several days and I've noticed my account was cleared. The client was off during all this time and the wallet was password protected. How is this possible at all? Is there anything that can be done at all?

This is the address were the bitcoins were transferred https://blockchain.info/address/1N7SEpAux2LMtReebJQazkPX8oSXxZx2qf

... and when I opened my Multibit Wallet I found this address inside the send box adress, like someone just input it??

Anyone that could help?

I think someone had access to your mac one way or another.

If you liked this post buy me a beer.  Beers are quite cheap where I live!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Also MAC user and also Multibit wallet.

This is what i saw in the transaction history:
http://blockchain.info/tx-index/adfb89aa46d7f8c48ae924a272899d5d827eb34f2404aa019247c5d78fb848d5

Not a transaction i did. I checked the log files on my computer and i am a 100 % sure the computer was off at the time. The computer was turned of 4,5 hours before the transaction, and turned on 6 hours after the transaction. I just discovered it today (26 january 2014).

That was all my bitcoins. I was just starting and experimenting with bitcoins, so luckily is wasn't that much.

I am also having a strong password (more dan 10 random digits), etc.

I'm sure i never see the bitcoins again, but i really like to know what happened. Is the MultiBit wallet hacked? That my computer is hacked or has a virus is really unlikely. I regularly run virus scans (with different scanners) and i have programs installed like Little Snitch (Hands Off!) to monitor my network connections.
