How to Sell iXcoin (IXC) Safely on eBay

Sell IXC on Ebay can be a little bit tricky and risky.

Here a method on how do it.

- Subscribe to CEX.IO (New accounts are not allowed to withdraw funds in the first 48h)
- Transfer a certain amount of your IXC from your actual wallet to CEX.IO wallet (click on "Balance")
- Click on "Balance", on IXC click "Withdrawal", go to "Generate voucher code (IXC)" section.
- Choose the amount of IXC you want to transform in voucher. Collect the voucher number.

On Ebay:

- Sell the item with a title like "_____ IXC IXCoin - Physical Certificate - similar to bitcoin litecoin ppcoin namecoin"
- Give specific instructions to the customer:

"In order to guarantee your safety and privacy, I will send you a voucher you can easily redeem on your CEX.IO account. if do not have one you can sign up very quickly. After you signed on https://cex.io, go to "Balance". Type in in the below certificate code. Click the redeem button.
Once the redeem button has been clicked you should see the IXCoins appear on your balance.
Now you can freely send them to any other IXCoin wallet of your choosing. The website works in a very similar fashion to Cryptsy or Vircurex."

You send the certificate information with tracking code.  So you have evidence it was delivered.

You have a record that the certificate was redeemed.  So you have evidence that it was actually used.

In any event, you manage your risks, by accepting only buyers with good reputations.

However, you entail these fraud risks with anything you sell on eBay.   The buyer can always claim he received the wrong stuff or no stuff at all.

so the problem is that you cannot prove that you actually have sent a voucher, it could be a simple postcard, and most probably you wont be able to prove that the certificate was reedemed because these shitbags at paypal wont even check any online confirmations, they do not accept any video, photo evidence of you packing an item and so on (afaik). but I agree, its extremely profitable now.

in my opinion the only way you can protect yourself is to sell using best offer. no buy it now, no auction (where you have many possible buyers but you cannot choose a winner), just a huge buy it now price with a best offer option. You probably will have less buyers with best offer but atleast you will be able to choose who to sell to by checking their feedback and previous crypto trades

eBay almost always sides with the buyers.  So yes,  to reduce your risk,  sell only to a verified buyer.   

You can always do fixed price with best offer.  Almost as good as an auction.
