That's great news, if Amazon and others soon followed suit it would be a huge plus for Bitcoin. I just noticed a little while ago that there's a site called "gyft.com" where you can buy gift cards from various retailers and store them on your mobile phone, as well as now being able to pay for these online with bitcoins. Almost like a bitcoin type of paypal but only for getting gift cards. This site is being advertised on Coinwarz now.

OK, nice.
But it is BIG FAIL. It is available only on US site. On international site this type of payment is not available. This is again one of basic ideas of cryptocurrencies - worldwide, borderless!!!!

Ah thats why I could not find the BTC option on check out But I guess they will add that soon....I mean I see no reason why they should just accept BTC for US? Edit: Found that statment on reddit.com: "For now it's only available on the U.S. checkout but I hear from reliable sources that they will roll it out to international after a bake in period." (sorce: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1utcz6/bitcoin_payments_are_now_live_on_overstockcom/ )
