Good job and nice work, why not monetize your efforts.

The good news is the kids have access to their parents pocket books.

You could charge to help them, set things up and even sell them mining hardware. Also help them using current hardware to mine alt coin.

If you liked my post or found anything I said useful send some coffee change to

Hey everyone, I am a 15 year old highschool student who has recently gotten invloved in bitcoin.  Yesterday for my public speaking class I taught my class about bitcoin.  I tried to keep it as simple as possible because I was very limited on time, and also because I don't think a lot of the kids would understand the logistics of bitcoin in such a small time frame.  I got a couple people involved who even asked me to help set up their first wallets, which was my goal!  I just thought I would share the video with you all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82DIlojCm_U

Very nice presentation.

Well done. I just sent you 0.01 BTC for 2 reasons:
1.) You promoted bitcoin, even though the girls in your class weren't all that excited about it.
2.) You had the balls to not only stand up in a class and do a presentation but you also provided a video on Youtube and linked to that video here.

Enjoy!

I see that SkateSoft has now received 0.03 BTC (~$25) as a tip for his well-done high-school presentation that he uploaded to YouTube.  On a somewhat related note, I wonder if creating videos with bitcoin QR codes in outlandish/funny places could catch on with the high-school crowd like "planking" did some years back (or "Faith Hilling" a la South Park--was that actually a thing??).  I think what is key (beyond making a great video) is to have the QR code visible and in such a way that it's pretty clear that the video wasn't edited after the fact to insert a hacked QR code.  Even for SkateSoft's video, it may have attracted more tips had the QR code in the video correspond to the address in his signature (not that I think this was a scam--I think they just used some random QR code in the presentation without really thinking about it.)

Also may I add that you are very lucky to be (probably) the ONLY guy in your class?

Enjoyed the video, good work kid!  Bitcoin education is one person at a time! Or in this case, a class.
