Hello, all!    Newbie, here, looking to get out of the "starting blocks" asap! I've followed bitcoin at a distance for several years while investing/trading currencies/equities/options, etc.. Now seeking to apply my trading/investing experiences with bitcoin.

Advice that any may have to assist my getting off on the "right foot" with bitcoin will be very much appreciated. Not interested in mining (at least I don't believe so, at this time). Am interested in: buying, selling, investing, trading, and gaining a clearer understanding of how bitcoin fits in our world economy. (I believe it does, big time)

Thanks for any, and all, advice. Hoping this post will help me clear the newbie "hurdle" and get on to many profitable threads!

Hello there. I am new too.
I have been looking around at kraken.com and bitcoins seems like a safe longterm investment for this year. I hears somwhere (sorry, no source) that BTC was estimated to double it's value during 2014. But the again, who can be sure.

Best of luck!

Once Netflix invests in BTC the prices will become 3 times higher than what they are now.
