I heard it takes forever for them to ship. At this point mining does not seem to be worth it, especially at the rate the difficulty keeps increasing. You might as well just use that money to buy and sell bitcoins on an exchange.

BFL does have a bad reputation of shipping late, but at least they are getting more mining HW in more people's hands which is better for Bitcoin. The other guys are doing high end (5K+) HW only which is destroying the whole mining thing for the rest of us.

And it's only going to get worse.
