As of now, the price of bitcoin has been increased by 1.62% today. Whereas ETH is falling down. Will btc price go up go forward?? I am afraid to make any investment as this moment. Whats your thought??

It all depends if you are a long term holder or a short term holder. If you are a long term holder like me who holds bitcoin for more than a year and enjoy a really good profit then it is good to buy bitcoin now and sell it next year. But if you are a short term holder then you need to wait for sudden fluctuations to set your buy and sell so you can earn a profit. |

1.62% is hardly a price increase to be optimistic about imo.
It goes up and down daily.
I'm a holder so i'm not too interested in these small fluctuations.

Better to take this opportunity playing with alts while btc is slowly increasing, we can't easily project what can be the next movements that will happen with btc but with quality alts like ETH placing some investment could bring decent earnings, as long as we understand ad how to handle the risk, keep things in positive position and be smart enough to take those chances. |

It is actually case to case basis and it depends in the holder on itself if what are they preferred to do either it's short term or a long term. It is good decision to invest now if you preferred a long term because as we can see now the value of bitcoin is in a mid value which it is also good for a long term investment but if you are preferred for a short term investment then it is better to wait for a deeply dip where in the value of it is much lower than to it's normal value so in that way you can able to earn much higher profit. |

the demand for bitcoin and the buy support is still there and people are buying bitcoin. even whales are currently buying bitcoin that is why each time the dumping stops the price keeps on rising upwards. and that is what you are seeing as today's rise.
but the problem is we don't know if there will be another manipulation and dump or not. the good news is that as price goes lower it becomes harder to do the same thing. so we can't say for sure of this is the start of the rally or not. it may begin now or it may need a bit longer.

There will be ups and downs in bitcoin price in short term. However, bitcoin price will go upwards in long term because of the limited supply. Bitcoin miners will also get less bitcoins as the reward because bitcoin rewards getting per block will be reduced by half in every four years. Institutional players yet to come to bitcoin trading which means there will be more demand once they enter to the bitcoin world. Therefore bitcoin price will go up in long term.
If you are a short term trader or investor, its better to master technical analysis as well as fundamental analysis in order to be profitable.

You should not really depend on the pieces of advice that you will get here but rather make the decision by yourself so that you will not blame other people later on if the outcome is not what you expect it to be. You will just read either invest now while it is still affordable or wait until another dip occurs. Just search for the latest news about the crypto world and there you will get a better grasp of the idea why bitcoin's price is going the way it is now. |

But surely all the coins growing well in future so you should invest know it will make good profit and this is the right time to invest in crypto platform so don't be afraid in this situation. 1.62% is merely even a gain. I wouldn't even consider something is going up because of it. But my real advice is (and I know you will get this a lot) to learn trading yourself. Listening advice to people online probably is the worst you will get, as for one their advice would be different from each other and number two is listening and following them blindly without you double checking might lead you losing a lot of money in the future.

You simply can not predict the future price growth only on today's growth. We have to wait, Bitcoin will not grow as fast as last year. |

I always recommend people to invest in smaller fractions, all to grant yourself the best possible outcome. The initial investment should be 25% at most, and after that you can just wait for the market to make a move. If it goes up, you at least have some coins to benefit from that increase, where if the price goes down, you have enough funds ready to buy more. The benefit of buying the market down is that it allows you to lower your average buying price, and that in the end will bring in the best possible profits when the market bounces back up. If even that is something you find too stressful, then just keep waiting for the sentiment to change, but know that you may be missing out significantly.

Really the etheruem coin has not been riding with bitcoin like we saw last year. As for bitcoin, it surely gives difference between buy and sell, in between being the gain or lose  . It is surely a volatile coin. It goes up and down daily.
This is what makes it the pride of every investor. The movement of bitcoin contribute so much to cryptomarket index. |

First off don't be afraid that will get you nowhere. Be confident in your approach and you will have a better chance to succeed. The consensus seems to be that Bitcoin will move on up, but I have my reservations for that exact reason. Not sold on us being above 10k and staying there, but I don't see the doomsday predictions happening either. I am happy being in between 6-12k range as long as we need to figure it out and get rid of the weak hands.

bitcoin is not yet the huge market with billions of investors and a packed order book that you can consider 1.62% as a "rise". instead it is still a small market with a small market and a thin order book which makes it pretty volatile. in other words anything below 10% in one day is not really a big deal and is considered normal market fluctuations. I am afraid to make any investment as this moment. Whats your thought??
then don't invest. investment in anything is a risky business, and investing in bitcoin is even riskier because it is still new. and if you are to be afraid about it all the time then it is best not to invest. your mental health is worth more than profit. and if you decided otherwise, you should always invest what you can afford to lose. |

the volume has started to pick up again and there has been a slight price rise but we can not call this the start of an "uplift" yet. in my opinion this is mostly because of all the still ongoing dumps that are happening. we first have to see the bear whales run out of coins to dump on the market before the price can start rising. so far each time there is an attempt to rise up, a big dump comes on and breaks the attempt in its start. and then the panic sellers and short term traders do the rest.

No not really.
When you have a look on the daily or 12hr chart you will see we are still making lower highs.
The rejection at $10k was pretty strong and a sign that bears are not giving up that fast.
At least we have made a higher low around 7900 with the last drop. Let's if we can hold it or will go lower again.
If you want to invest, meaning holding for longer period of time, 2-3 years, there is no reason to be afraid of putting some money into Bitcoin.
Sooner or later we will go up again.
