Hello everyone.

I would like to write here my idea that change merit distribution system.

Currently we have few members beeing merit source, who are generating and giving merit poits to quality post writers.
In my Idea merit poits will be created by merit source by giving merit to chosen post (like now) and also to everyone who gave merit poits to that post beafore. That will make users to use their merit poits to good quality posts not only to their frends or alt accounts. In fact they will spend their time to search for new, quality posts to be beafore merit source with their feedback to poster. That will improve merit distribution and quality of merited posts.

What you guys think about it?

Hello. That was one of my first topics created on bitcointalk ... 21 may 2018... Lots of things changed in my life but not my thoughts about merit distribution system
When i've created this topic i choose wrong section that's why there was no response. Thats why i've mooved it and bumped.

Users shouldn't be rewarded for meriting posts. Merit and thus ranking up is meant for users who make good posts, not users who merit good posts.

It took me a couple of reads to get the idea, but it does not bear any solid arguments to make it stand. The idea you suggest is based on Merit Sources meriting a post, as well as all previous meritors of that post, as a sort of reward for finding a decent enough post before the a Merit Source stumble upon it.

The merited post is the objective, and the meriters should not be merited for meriting (or being the early birds to merit a post). It kind of shifts the focus of the objective of merit.

Note: I made an early proposal back in the day, which I dare not look at now. It could lead to an interesting thread: torn down merit proposals from the past.

I am the new member on the bitcointalk i do not know about ranking system to bitcoin so i want to learning about ranking system. I just know it will depends on merit but how to get merit i dont know so it also also want to knowing.

Getting merit has become impossible.
 Even if the subject is good sometimes it is not awarded merit.
 Your idea is good. I wish to apply.
