Don't forget http://www.cryptosextoys.com which accepts BTC DOGE LTC MEC NMC NVC PPC XPM SXC TRC.

How could anyone forget? A great use for some of your lingering alts! SXC & sex toys ftw!

Jesus I didn't realise they accepted all them now. Still a bit annoyed that they de-listed FTC and now accept doge. Dafuq.

For me BTC is too slow for every day life even if it changed the world of money.

I guess your talking about the Bitcoin value. All we have to do is change the way we think about its price. While Bitcoin is more and more accepted and used as a store of value, the more the price will be. Imagine if 0.00000627 BTC costing U$1,00. You would have that big "numbers", if that is what you call fast economy Cheesy A lot of people with 1-5 BTC and a way better distribuction of money.

Insert Coins Here: 1GWz2R7NKVgtYg8yYQ7bbzDZWyRLXoitBN

Thank you Sir!

Assuming all of them grew big enough I'd go with Nextcoin, instant transaction confirmations, and proof of stake.

Regarding instant transaction confirmations, it is an issue.. the way to steal stuff with Bitcoins is to purposefully double spend, you basically fill a custom made wallet with exactly the right amount of coins and send them from that wallet to the correct address, while at the same time sending them to 9 other addresses which you own.  Suddenly you have a 1 in 10 chance of stealing what you are 'buying'.. right?  I mean 10 minutes is a long confirmation time and I suspect it scares away businesses who look into supporting Bitcoin.. I'd be wary.  Nextcoin however is instantly confirmed!

I think proof of stake is also very important, and this is why.  It ultimately is the only way to keep transaction fees low in the long run.  At the moment we have a hidden cost for paying the miners which is the same thing as the government printing more money!  But once that halves again or stops.. Bitcoin has to implement fairly high transaction fees.. I've heard higher than credit cards currently charge!  Which defeats the purpose of using it to beat those fees!  However with NXT, you just pay people to mine.. not a large amount but enough that if I have computer turned on, why not run the NXT client at the same time and collect the interest on my account? And the amount received per account will grow once people start using NXT for something more than buying and hoarding and actually start spending them on things.

Also NXT and other Proof of Stake coins are not nearly as susceptible to a 51% attack as all the Proof of Work ones where the only guarantee is the amount of money thrown at the mining hardware.

I vote Nextcoin!

Once BTC is accepted by a large entity, like Amazon, there will be a tsunami of interest, acceptability and growth, making it the coin most of us will use.

This is already the case regardless.

BitCoin seems the most tried and true, as well as standardized and accepted. But litecoin seems interesting enough to keep at hand as a back up currency.

DOGE, because it take the edginess out of money and encourages tipping and giveaways. Who is giving away BTC nowadays? It's all become so serious.
