Hi, Simple rules: Bitcoins on the auction will be given to highest approved bidder. The amount of bitcoins is calculated like this: Bitcoins on the auction - highest bid. Example: 1BTC on the auction, your bid 0.2BTC and it is the highest, then 1BTC - 0,2BTC = 0,8BTC are transfefred to your bitcoin aaddress then auction ends. http://www.freshdesign.ee/bitcoin/Good Luck

scam. here's how it works... lots of people send 0.## btc to the auction website owner collects all bids and totals them up...
so with seconds to go, the owner of the website bids the full amount of bitcoins bid by everyone (could be around 25btc et al)
owner of the site has all the bids in his wallet, plus wins the 1btc, for which he/she has bid the highest.
not rocket science.

A game with only one winner and therefore a lot of losers?

no you don't send bids, you only send auction fee witch is 0.001BTC per bid Example: 1BTC on the auction, your bid 0.2BTC and it is the highest, then 1BTC - 0,2BTC = 0,8BTC are transfefred to your Bitcoin address then auction ends.

Use a trusted escrow to hold on to the cash and he pays it out to the winner instead of you.

first, 0.985BTC is not amount to pay, it is bet and never have to pay. 1BTC on the auction, your bid 0.2BTC and it is the highest, then 1BTC - 0.2BTC = 0.8BTC are transfefred to your Bitcoin address then auction ends. second, 1PWFadvwo5Gp4t3kwCpyPKTVJFCCcWemKn this is bidder address, if it wins then this address credited
