How about I give you 50 bitcoins and you go buy 45k iocoins?

That's the point, I am asking for i0coins, not bitcoins. I want people to use it! People go crazy spending $700 on 5970s, surely they can bother reading up about i0coins and making a transaction to buy mine, can't they?
(i0coin is spelled with a zero, not with an o, in case you want to google it.)

You don't happen to have a sell order for 45k I0Coins that's been sitting on the bitparking exchange? I spent 2.5 bitcoins to buy 900 i0coins when they first came out. I sold my 900 i0coins for .44 BTC a couple days later. Whoops! That is a pretty cool thing you are doing, although I think it may be futile. Saturating the community with multiple crypto-currencies only devalues BTC in my opinion.

We will see if that is futile or not ;-)
No, I don't have any outstanding order on any exchange. I am going long on i0coins.

Price is now 50k i0c. This corresponds to an even lower 45 BTC, for a brand new HD 5970 at the current exchange rates!

Is there an exchange where I can buy IOCoins?
I'll buy that 5970.
{edit, reading up on exchange now}

There's not enough liquidity at the exchange. It would cost 70 btc to buy 50k IOcoin, which is like $600. :/ Any chance you'd be ok with 25k IOCoin ($248) and then the remaining $132 in btc?

Volume has been 100k I0C in the past 24 hours, yet the exchange rate has stayed under 0.001 I0C/BTC. So I would say there is enough liquidity. You just have to buy slowly over time.

A few persons have contacted me and seem interested. I will end the offer to sell the 5970 exactly 3 days from now, which leaves plenty enough time to buy 50k i0coins. I must receive payment by September 7 at 07:00 UTC. The block chain timestamp will determine if the sale will proceed or not. I will accept if the payment goes through 1 block late (ie. in the block immediately following 07:00 UTC). I will wait confirmation by an additional 40 blocks (nominally 1 hour) before acknowledging receipt of payment. Shipping is extra and will be arranged at the buyer's convenience (I accept USD/BTC/I0C).

I don't mean to be rude, but you're not going to get a lot of people that actually have i0coins or will use the client after the purchase. That's because this is a Bitcoin marketplace, so people are generally looking to buy things with Bitcoins or USD. It's like trying to get Amazon to accept ixcoins, you're just advertising in the wrong area.
I personally like Bitcoins. Even though they're slow, it's not like I'll need the money within 5 minutes. That's what block explorer is for.

Guys I just realized its not gonna be 38 btc that's if you could buy 50,000 for 0.00075 you can buy a couple hundred but once you buy more the price is gonna go up and by the time you get to your 50,000 coin it will start costing it like 0.0020 per coin instead of 0.00075 so really you'll be spending about 500$ worth in the end because people most people sell it at the lowest price to sell. this is the order of the way you would buy it so after you buy 219 it will go up in price then the next 198 will be more then the 5 then the 20 and when you get to about 10,000 it will be about 0.00098 per i0 then then the next 20,000 will be like 0.0013 i0 then when you get to 20,000 like 0.0016 etc... sell 0.00077999 219.90900000 sell 0.00078000 198.00000000 sell 0.00079000 5.60000000 sell 0.00081388 20.27973468 sell 0.00085000 300.00000000 sell 0.00088000 500.00000000 sell 0.00088999 125.55000000 sell 0.00089000 1225.71600000 sell 0.00089348 4253.03400000 sell 0.00089438 226.63540738 sell 0.00090000 8.96500000 sell 0.00095000 348.00000000 sell 0.00097500 630.00000000 sell 0.00097800 134.90000000 sell 0.00098000 4789.37000000 sell 0.00098185 3870.26100000 sell 0.00098501 29.00000000 sell 0.00099800 110.00000000 sell 0.00099880 240.00000000 sell 0.00099980 200.00000000 sell 0.00099990 247.00000000 sell 0.00099999 500.00000000 sell 0.00100000 127.00000000 sell 0.00106000 250.00000000 sell 0.00107894 133.24000000 sell 0.00107895 3521.93750000 sell 0.00118566 3204.96310000 sell 0.00120000 226.49748608 sell 0.00129970 1000.00000000 sell 0.00129999 2860.00000000 sell 0.00130000 2976.04759479 sell 0.00130292 2916.51640000 sell 0.00134800 1490.00000000 sell 0.00135000 255.00000000 sell 0.00139000 8.78329681 sell 0.00141000 37.65697000 sell 0.00143178 2375.05795258 sell 0.00148677 624.00000000 sell 0.00148699 1500.00000000 sell 0.00149994 15.00000000 sell 0.00149995 1793.70000000 sell 0.00149999 20.00000000 sell 0.00150000 5036.25000000 sell 0.00155000 872.39240734 sell 0.00157339 2415.16730000 sell 0.00158736 428.00000000 sell 0.00160000 50.00000000 sell 0.00165000 20.00000000 sell 0.00170000 78.00000000 sell 0.00172900 2197.80220000 sell 0.00175000 937.00000000 sell 0.00178990 125.00000000 sell 0.00180000 1226.81274900 sell 0.00188800 426.50000000 sell 0.00199997 191.00000000 sell 0.00199999 96.00000000 sell 0.00200000 3232.00000000 sell 0.00213480 100.00000000 sell 0.00215000 419.40000000 sell 0.00219999 20.00000000 sell 0.00220000 1223.00000000 sell 0.00222222 1000.00000000 sell 0.00228999 90.00000000 sell 0.00230000 75.30000000 sell 0.00233000 856.00000000 sell 0.00240000 2053.39640000 sell 0.00243500 48.00000000

Trini8ed: that's only if you buy 50k at once.
30k-100k I0C have been bought, daily, for the past few days with the price staying under .001 BTC.

Woot! A buyer actually did take the offer and sent me 50k i0coins, barely 1h before the time limit! This is the first time ever that a physical good is being purchased with i0coins to my knowledge. At current exchanges rates, that's 40 BTC or 288 USD for that new AMD Radeon HD 5970. That will prove to all the pessimists above that it was possible to grab this deal without too much trouble. On a second thought I should have priced it higher. Oh well For the record the txid was a3a387066cdad641f71c318993301f662f192765cb5a240e0ff46385e5998cca However the mystery buyer hasn't yet attempted to contact me... Please reply to this thread!
