Not sure, but maybe theymos has him holding some of BT's money.

Surely not...

I doubt he skipped town over 500 BTC (I think that was the amount that Theymos broke up BT's holdings into). Anyway if anybody knows how to get ahold of him, I have a few questions.

I can't validate as I just saw it in a post yesterday that no one in the post had received contact from him since the last post and yes he had at least "some" btc from escrows 1 being some type of raffle and if I remember right that was about 100btc so I would assume he still holds the forums money as well?  Again just guesses on my part, but more discussion about the same topic below

Not a really compelling reason considering he probably already has thousands.

Well, you never know. That kind of money can turn a lot of people and you don't know what financial situations someone may find themselves in (and then there's the long-con etc). I'm not saying he has done any of these things or anything, but I've seen how money can corrupt even the most moral of people.

John K is back:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412061.0

Sorry for my (yet again) unannounced hiatus for the past month or so - I have been extremely busy due to heavy travelling and am just back to Malaysia from China. I am alive,
although not really well and extremely apologetic for what my delay have done. I've released a few escrows I've been holding in the order of magnitude and those I can
clear within this hour.

People who are high net worth in open ledger systems are targets for crime, so it's probably good that the forum worries Smiley

I meant to add that interesting tidbit, but got sidetracked with penning the humor aspect of the post.

Glad to see you're back, John. BTW, while you were gone, a new Dong has joined our ranks--Long Dong Johnson. Use the search engine on this forum to get up to speed.
