Hi I was mining with a 280x and 7950. Everything was going fine except when I used higher intensity on 280x to increase hash rate, the card crashes when connected to monitor. So I disconnected it from the monitor and was using remote desktop connection.  After 10 mins the remote desktop connection ended by itself and now there is no video output when connected to the monitor and I can't access remote desktop connection to lower the intensity so it doesn't crash when it is connected to the monitor.  Btw I have set cgminer to start automatically when computer is turned on.

I just noticed that it is not mining because my watt meter says it is taking 125w when it is meant to take 600w when mining. So why is there no video signal if it is not mining?

System locked up.

Unplug network connection and restart (this should keep cgminer from connecting thus locking the system), change setting (lower intensity), plug back in restart mining.....
