I believe that we live in the first generation capable of answering the biggest question, "what are we"? And the "why"?

The ancient Egyptians were obsessed with this concept, but we seem unconcerned.

Blockchain is remarkable because it conveys what is possible when intelligent people work towards a cumulative goal. We live in the age of information and technology -- knowledge is available, and mankind is now capable of so much more than ever before. However, we waste so much of our ability chasing money. If we were to work together to discover the reasons for life, perhaps we could understand it.

I dont want to die without knowing what this is/was. There are tons of resources available online, there are scientists, the LHC, preachers, etc -- but the truth remains, that nobody really knows. If we can understand it, perhaps we can control it. If we can communicate with our creator -- perhaps we can understand why. Perhaps we can reason, understand why, understand how to evolve, defeat pain/illness/death.

if in my opinion. Blockchain is the designation for the latest decentralized technology known as the technology that runs Bitcoin. Although it took quite a while, the world has changed a lot since the Internet was first discovered 35 years ago. Currently, Blockchain offers high-end solutions that have the potential to revolutionize the workings of internet, banking and applications without servers.

This is beyond or too much to talk on where these things is almost impossible specially defeating death. I do understand your point and motives but Money is everything on this world, only a few on this world would really be sensible or having those things on mind to deeply understand on how things work and seeking out answers that have been neglected by most of us. Blockchain technology is a great discovery but we are still too far away into those things that you had mentioned or doesnt even reachable.

Is the question "What are we?" the biggest human problem?
I thought that wars,poverty,inequality,healthcare,polution and terrorism are the biggest problems of the human civilization.
Do you think that solving a bunch of complex mathematical tacks will answer the question "What are we?"?

The blockchain is not magic sprinkle things that solve all problems in life. Mostly, Blockchain is doing all the good favor in the subject that suits blockchain. but that does not mean Blockchain is the answer for all problems.

We call it Capitalism.Our innovations would never find it's way to the mass audience if not for the capitalist economy. Innovation serves no purpose if it doesn't change the usual lives of the ordinary people.

Our mind is unlimited. Although many religious people say the opposite, I believe otherwise. With our mind, we surely will discover the ultimate truth. On the other hand, some people are more powerful than us as they do not want us to seek the truth. As a matter of fact, the blockchain was created to fight against the corrupted banks. And with the current obstacles it is facing, it still cannot move forward yet. That is why we should be patient.

I don't really understand what you're getting at OP. How do you relate a data structure and protocol to what you mentioned?

Yeah, it solves issues of trust between humans and such. That's great and all, but I don't see where it offers anything 'above' that. In the best cases it can offer changes on a social level, sure. But something more than just changes to our relatively trivial(compared to what you are getting at) social systems? I don't see it, but if you wish to elaborate feel free.

Well I Think blockchain was created to help us solve some of our problems specially financial but not totally the answer to our problems. We need still to have hardwork and not just depend from blockchain. But one thing is for sure, blockchain is really a good idea and it is a big help for us. We just need to believe and be patient

All things follow the law of nature and are non-stop. The new one will replace the old and the same technology. I do not think the future, the world only received Blockchain technology alone, but also a lot of new things.

One project I can think of that might benefit from this technology, might be the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) This is going to be the largest multi radio telescope project in the world. The SKA is a global project with eleven member countries that aims to answer fundamental questions about the origin and evolution of the Universe.

It wants to go right back to the beginning, to answer the question, "Where did all of this start?"

I am not sure how the Blockchain can fit into this, but I know they have to work with 11 different countries and several different currencies and also massive amounts of data that needs to be catalogued.

I'd be sad to disappoint you, but the humankind is mostly focused on making money nowadays. Crypto has shown the world a way to make easy money.
There are still too many people who strive to make their living. The question you ask is not something that is a priority to them.

I do not know whether the blockchain will solve all the problems in the future, but the fact that it can already bring undeniable benefits is undeniable. The fact is that any paper medium can be forged. Blockchain allows you to make an entry in the registry without the use of paper and this entry can not be forged.

I'm sorry to tell you that blockchain is not the magic bean that we all have been waiting for. As disruptive as it may seems, it will not truly solved one universally problem, which is poverty. We are "obsessed" with money, but you also have to understand that we have families to feed that's why everyone is in the business of making money. And enter crypto, wherein everyone can make money, but its not that easy as its been picture. You need to work you ass off everyday, making good trades. And you will also noticed that a lot of billionaires philanthropist who try to really change the world but they are not successful. Its because its a global phenomenon, every country has its own problem, and blockchain is just another puzzle that will at least alleviate societies problem but not totally eliminate it.

I don't think blockchain is a magic, all the technology involved was there for many years, satoshi did some good combination, but idealistic.

Now people can even conquer POW like bitman. I don't know how far blockchain will go, but it's connecting the world indeed.
