The easiest way is to sell something desirable here in the forums. Otherwise I'd start an account with Dwolla and use it to buy coins from Mt. Gox

If you dont want to deal with the exchanges then you could either sell some stuff on here for BTC or put some money in a dwolla account and offer to buy some BTC from someone on here via a dwolla transfer.
I would just go make an account at campbx tradehill or mtgox then fund it with dwolla because if you want to make money with BTC eventually you are going to need to learn how to use the exchanges.

You can actually buy bitcoin today if you live near a Chase or Wells Fargo in the US. Open an account on our exchange ( https://www.exchangebitcoins.com), make a deposit reservation on the Deposits page and follow the instructions there. We think it beats the 1 week+ of any other exchange-based option for speed and convenience.

It's difficult to verify and requires manual steps. ExchB requires you to send a picture of the deposit slip, which is a smart way of doing it. Other than that, when someone deposits checks or cash into your bank account, theres no 'memo' field or something that could differentiate or verify someones deposit

MtGox.com is the safest, since you can't get hit by scammers. Plus you can store your bitcoins there, so it functions as both a wallet and a buy/sell site.

That would be up to the person selling them. A word of warning: $1 each is too cheap to NOT be a scam.

Still around.
