How to safely transfer from MtGox to Dutch bank account?

Just found my old MtGox login; now I have a few bitcoins on there that I'd like to turn into euros on a Dutch bank account.

Any recent experiences on doing this? Should I go ahead use MtGox directly (and send them passport copies etc -- can they be trusted)? Or transfer to a wallet (I installed MultiBit for that) and then to a Dutch exchange?

Couldn't find it on the forum -- apologies if this has been asked a million times before.

Yeah, they can be trusted. If I remember correctly, they've had some delays for transfers to US banks but for the EU it should be pretty quick.
