BTCPlay.com

I originally bought this domain to start a 50/50 lottery for charity*, but I never got time to start developing it. So I decided to rent it out to someone who has time to develop and make money from it.

*All proceeds will be going to my fiance's parents. I am marrying an Akha woman from Thailand and her parents live in the mountains of northern Thailand in only an old, weak bamboo house. I do not have much money to support them, so I'm trying my best to make some money to help build them a sturdy house. (Donate: 1KpnXDV7n8Rshr6Mt3ZgDKJbgM1cxK8FN6)

With the name I have chosen, it can be used for many different purposes as a casino/gambling site, an online gaming site, a video streaming site, a movie/DVD store, a games store, or anything else you can think of!

The current price is 4.0 BTC per month.

The price is subject to change but you can pay for the first 3, 6, or 12 months in the beginning to secure this price.
Once you pay for the first month I will change the nameservers to your host. Then it's virtually yours to do with what you want. (I require one line of text in the footer of each page). So if you do not pay, I can take it back until you pay.
I cannot be held responsible for the content of the site, but it may not be illegal in your country or on your webhost.
The first day you pay will be the first day of the "month" and the next month's rent will be due on the same date every month (or the last day of the calendar month if it does not have that many days).
A late fee of .2 BTC will be charged for each day the payment is late. If it is not paid in 14 days, I will take the domain back until everything is paid for.
For my security I will keep the domain with my registrar and change the nameservers to what you want, giving you control over all the content

Please PM me if you are interested or to give me suggestions, questions, or advice.

It's all about the game, and how you play it

Why would someone rent a domain from you when they could get one like
bitrentals.com for videos(yes i checked it's avilable as of the time of this message) or something more specialized to their gambling site and OWN it for ~2btc currently?

If you found that funny or something i said useful i always appreciate spare change

I personally think that this domain is very good. I picked this name after searching and thinking for a long time. It's  short and easy to remember and a commonly used word. I would love to use it for myself, but I don't have time to do it now. I guess I just thought that it was a great domain name and worth the premium fee.

i would have thought 4 btc to be the buy price for that domain, not monthly rental.

renting a domain is insane, basically they are inevitably going to have to pay more and more rent if their business succeeds

I've honestly never herd of anyone Renting a domain, other than paying their yearly fees to ICANN.

Sounds ridiculous to me. Domains are basically the name of your business. Like you said, if the business succeeds then basically the person you're renting from has you by the balls. Since you won't even be able to inform your patrons that you will be moving if they jack the price up too high, the renter will just change nameservers and you're pretty much SoL.

Forget the domain.  I'll pay you 2BTC per pound for authentic Thai Drunken Noodles.

And then there's "I require one line of text in the footer of each page". I do bid 8BTC for it, though.
