bitcoin plus charity website

I am new to Bitcoin and have be looking at different ways to make bitcoins. I came across bitcoin plus but the effort in doesn't seem to payoff. However I would be willing to keep a web page open if knew it was making money for charity. Do anyone know if any charities all ready do this? I am sure if the general public could just click on a web page link a lot of bitcoins could be mined for charity.
