Hi everyone

I came across this website
http://www.followthecoin.com/the-secret-to-mining-bitcoins/
and it recommended to come by your site and try you out.

So I signed up, downloaded the latest cgminer client
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.9/

I checked your help page, and towards the bottom has
some script that I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with.

But noticed in that section to just click the cgminer.exe file
and enter the details, which I did, and it asked me for my
username and password which seemed to accept, but the
application disappeared / vanished.

So I'm not sure if I'm mining or if I have done something
wrong...

So I tried it again and went back to the start of this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167635.0

and i entered these details in the cgminer client
stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.us:3332/
and everything seems to be working after entering my username
and p/w, but im not sure if I am mining or not...

I have a series of lines of text in the cgminer window like:
[2014-01-12 11:11:20] Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart

it says i am connected to pool1.us.multipool.us diff 32 with stratum as user (my user name)
block 1cf9d8bc..  Diff:1.42G started: [11:05:04] Best Share: 0

Could you steer me in the right direction please so I can
join your mining pool...

Thanks for your time. Smiley

This one below shows it found a block, but is it mining it?

I've had this software running now for about 3 hours
and I cant work out if its working or not...

and this is my config file..

Cheers

I don't have a "site" or a "mining pool".  Perhaps it would be helpful to specify who you are talking to?
