you should post an [ANN] (announcment) topic with info on this new coin. Checkout other [ANN] posts for examples. This is the best way to get the word out. Once people are aware of it and it becomes talked about then pools will follow. That is if you don't have the server or team to build your own. Also I recommend hold off on mining until its announces. The alt coin community holds higher respect the the coins that are not premined by the devs.
