Nobody knows how long it will be feasable. It totally depends on the market.
There are rumors of ASIC's being developed but so far they all seem to be hoaxes as far as i know.
Furthermore there are new algoritms being made that are better than scrypt.

Remember that Scrypt ASIC do not provide a benefit to the order of magnitude that sha256 ASICs did.  By the time Scrypt ASICs come out AMD GPUs will reduce the benefit ASICs provide.  So GPU mining will be viable for much longer than they did in the BTC world.
