The group is attempting to build an organizational and technical foundation that will last for at least 40 years.  The OCA realizes that SolarCoin is a protocol and will adapt and change radically over that period in unintended ways.  The OCA's goal is to maximize global solar energy production as a positive shared externality driven by the acceptance and use of that protocol.
