From last few days, so many negative news regarding btc have been aired. Then lot of people speculate the price of bitcoin and just after that I have noticed some significant change in the price index of btc. Do you think that these speculation affect the price of btc a lot???

I don't know what's your point but trading is all about speculation because no one knows that will happen exactly in the future. We all just have to use the historical price chart to aid us in speculating what the future price will be along with market sentiment and fundamental news which would be the key of how the traders would react. Maybe what you mean is the negative news that would affect the bitcoin price negatively so I would just say that may it be true or not, it would have an impact on its price due to the fact that there are many newbies in the market who would panic sell when they heard or see a negative news.

because almost all bitcoin users are either investors or traders whose primary goal is to profit from the difference in Bitcoin price fluctuations, they are the fastest responding to a global issue, and these speculative actions are obviously a major adverse effect on Bitcoin volatility
Yes bitcoin users always do speculate about the prices just to earn profit on the amount they had invest. It affects bitcoin negatively as other users listen easily and breaks their trust on the future of bitcoin. Their faith just disappear when news comes out that price of bitcoin drops.

It has always been so, but this year after Consensus and array of some positive news, stagnation is continuing and I don't know if all these speculations has any impact on BTC at all

They do affect Bitcoin. All the Bitcoin experts have been speculating about the future prices of the coin and speculate that the monetary value of the coin will rise as much as 30,000 dollars. Well people follow these experts and after doing some research on their own as well they invest their money right away. This is the power of speculations and has been of great worth back in 2017.

Maybe yes it affects the price of bitcoin but not all is true there's some certain reason why bitcoin price is changing and go down and sometimes goes up. We can't base for every speculation why btc is down and so on...

Yeah, it will be pretty hard these days, except very few that utilize bitcoin as a currency, day to day means of payment unless there is just that huge need for it.

Yeah, we cannot blame anyone since it will always be their decisions to make and in that case, one thing has to give way for the other. With real life usage, in a massive form, the fluctuation would not have been highly huge but fluctuation is always a norm in any market. Speculation is the norm of the day and the only thing that pretty much drives the value of bitcoin as it is today and that sure do have an effect massively on the market.

That is true mate. For me, negative speculations without clear and true bases does not affect the market price and bitcoin as being the number one crypto-currency. It also depends on how big is the impact of the news to crypto business industry.

Speculation affects the Bitcoin if the speculation is in positive or negative will alter the value of Bitcoin by encouraging and discouraging the people to proceed or not. The market of Bitcoin will surely go high if we speculate positively then this positive speculation will encourage people to invest in the market of Bitcoin and conversely of we speculate negatively then the market will turn against.

Yes of course that the news in circulation will be able to change the price of Bitcoin so quickly and easily. Even hoax news that is still untested can make the price of Bitcoin decrease and increase very quickly. This is a thing that is indeed a characteristic, something like this that makes a lot of people sometimes feel that Bitcoin has unexpected price fluctuations. Even people feel frightened when hearing the word cryptocurrency. but all things there must be a negative side and the positive side, we should do is try to take advantage of the positive side that we can get. Do not always think negative because it will make things worse.

i guess speculation affect the price of btc because most of the people do not have the concept clear about the cryptocurrency yet. after hearing any kind of speculation there people starts to panic and take wrong decision. there are on other ways rather then having clear knowledge.
Exactly! These fake news are just like a poison to bitcoin success. People who are new to this industry often get panicked and fall prey to these false news ultimately resulting in giving up on their mighty bitcoin. Panic selling badly affects the value of bitcoin and it often results in some heavy decrease in its value because of the decrease in its demand. So we all bitcoin lovers should stay alert and do investigation before trusting rumors.

Speculation cuts both ways, it can be positive or it can be negative, in its positive side as soon as there is a positive news about bitcoin coming form the developers you can almost instantly see the price going up and then if we keep receiving positive news a bull market can form, the bad thing about speculation is that the media can influence people very easily and if several bad news appear then the price can go down dramatically and if it is big enough a bear market can form.

Fake news isn't poison to Bitcoin, the noobs believing everything are. In the end it all comes down to the people here not understanding what they invest in. Why do you think Warren Buffett keeps mocking Bitcoin? It's because of all the gamblers here just hoping that the price will sky rocket. That's why I don't like how even the Winklevoss twins went in with this. Instead of reacting to oldies trolling Bitcoiners, they should have been ignored completely. Even if you try to prove them wrong it gives them joy, so the best case is to not do anything. If you ignore them long enough, they won't even bother trolling anymore. They are like kiddos, the more you try to correct them, the more rebellious they become.

Speculation is a huge part in the bitcoin market right now, but is it really something bad that we need to be concerned about? I think not. Speculation can move prices both upwards and downwards, and it doesn't necessarily always have to be downwards.

And also as exstasie mentioned, a lot of the times, what really influences the prices are the current sentiment in the market, not individual pieces of news coverage.

Right now, we're in a bear market, which means that naturally traders will have the tendency to feel pessimistic about the market movements in the future, causing the downward movements that we see right now. It's part of how prices naturally moves in cycles, it's not anything negative.

Normal for people to have speculations since this is a very speculative market after all which means we would really able to see countless words to the entire community but these speculations doesnt mainly affect on the price of bitcoin. There are several factors to be considered that do affect price volatility which is indeed basing on supply and demand together with some fundamentals.

I think yes. No, I'm totally sure about it! People who speculate and those bots who always changing their orders to smaller, hate it.
Actually people speculate affects bitcoin negatively because it is like fuds or spreading news to others. So better we don't listen to false news or speculation as it is not accurate. Price is unstable it become decrease and increase.
Being too speculant will only be affected by those people who expect too much, its ok to speculate what the price would be, how much you wanted it to reached but never get too disappointed if it not achieved yet, that's how the market works.

Not unless it will ruin the reputation of the bitcoin, i don’t think so it will give negative effect of the bitcoin that affects its price going down, i think it won’t give any impact to that. The main reason of the market fluctuation is the stability situation in the market and the worldwide economic stability as well.

No I don't think so that these speculations affect the price of BTC. Suppose is it so then why not to increase as well? Some people are also speculating positive as well. I think price goes down suddenly whenever there is a change in rules of trading in any country. Some people who believe rules strongly, they use to stop trading after getting bad news about BTC or change in trading rules. Although it is ban in many countries but you can see that people of that country are trading. Have a look a localbitcoins then you will get an idea that how many people from how many countries are dealing with btc trading.

yes of course which is sometimes it really affects especially negative speculation that can cause people to panic sell which is from people who always claiming their selves as a expert by doing technical analysis in the market. 'cause actually most people nowadays always sharing negative speculation instead of positive to manipulate the price , that's why the market experience drastic change nowadays because of that reasons . So that's true that the speculation is can affect really hard on the btc price.
