The first pizza purchase using bitcoin, and it will be a history unforgettable by all bitcoin users, therefore that has been the beginning of the rise of bitcoin.

I hope that pizza shop is a multi millionaire now. But the question is , did they save the private keys. Or else 10k BTC is lost forever. I feel lots of regret everytime I heard a story like this.

Back then no one have imagined that 1 Bitcoin will worth $8,000. Also back then getting 10,000 is very easy compare to today. I know it is not a giant pizza chain, if I remembered correctly it is just simple pizza parlor and the owner just accepted bitcoin he think it is still a form of money. Well if he kept that he can build a pizza chain all over his state.

Its a bitcoin and pizza history that everyone treat it as an inspiration where bitcoin became valuable .I wonder how that pizza store as of this moment, are they still exist or stop the operation because of the wealth that 10,000 bitcoin brought to them.

It's amazing, Bitcoin is currently growing very fast. A pizza can be a history for bitcoin advancement. This is a very unusual thing.

What would you do with all of those coins that are practically worthless and not many people are keen to accept them?

Buy some pizza ofcourse.

At that time nobody predicted that Bitcoin would be as widely successful as it is now, and it simply wouldn’t have been a success if people didn’t hand out Bitcoins like candy in the early years.

BTW... Happy Bitcoin pizza day!!! Grin Grin

I like having left over pizza to nibble on later.  You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!
