How do you connect your wallet to the mining pool

This is probably a stupid ignorant question but I"m new I struggled for days to reading how to setup digital ocean mining since I tavel and i'm not online all the time, finally this morning I got it working (one droplet i'll setup more) but how do you setup so you wallet is connected to the pool i never put my wallet how will they pay me? I'm not clear. Thanks.
