Hi Folks,

Dabbled in bit coins about a year ago, think I produced 0.00023 on a test CPU only run and thought it was a waste of time!  Anyhoo, decided to give it a go, not looking to make millions or anything at all, but just to give it a bash.

I do like the look of the Technobits Hex16A board.  I'm an electronic/electrical engineer and nothing is better than a raw PCB.  Reading all the posts, i think they are getting an unfair bashing, but then ive not had cash outstanding for weeks, even then I would happily order one as it looks reasonable to me.

Browsing on Aliexpress I came across this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Perfect-200gh-s-bitcoin-miner/1606285868.html.

Yesterday it was available, now i notice its not.  But when it was, it was $435+shipping.  I know when something is a good price online, its often not true.   The seller has no feedback but allot of orders.  Possibly the seller is a fraud and they didnt realise no money gets to you until you deliver the goods.

A seller with another name has cropped up selling the same thing though, now at $2900 http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Perfect-200gh-s-bitcoin-miner/1570450086.html

Either way, with all the orders, somebody on here must have tried to buy one, i could find no mention in forum searches.   Anybody have any thoughts on it?

My order (230 GH/s Avalon miner) went off without any serious issues.
Quite happy.

I posted my experience --

Be careful who you deal with.  Send them messages, ask questions before you order and use the ESCROW (AliExpress) service.

Yep... make sure you use escrow and check out the sellers history etc... treat it like a riskier version of ebay. Now I think about it I've had a better experience on Aliexpress than ebay!
