Hi,

Just looking at which bitminer i will go for as a first step (after software/GPU mining).   My main thing (as is anybodys?) is best value hardware.

The HEX16A2 doing 23GH/s at 269.30€ demanding 92W
   =  11.71€/GH/S
   =  4W/GH/S

The HEX16B doing 40GH/s at 551.00€ needing about the same, say 100W
   = 13.78€/GH/S
   =  2.5W/GH/S

Given the low power levels involved, thats not a deal breaker, really I would be better getting two HEX16A2 at 540€ giving me 46GH/s.

Am i missing something?0Ccant see how the HEX16B is better in this regards.

with me looking in IF anyone has ported the CGMiner HEX patch to BFGMiner ( and not finding it ) I've found your unanswered question.

Answer: the A2 is cheaper in the short term ( gets you started mining at at least 18GHash/sec, I've maxed at 22GHash/sec with out hardware modding it... yet.... cooling is an issue ).  If you have the cash/BTC definitly doubble the hashing power with the  most hashing you can get with what coin you can afford to invest in hardware and power cost per month.

Always looking for donations even as low as 1uBTC
