The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Are you 100% sure its the new firmware that is slowing your miner down?

Also, what is the actual hash rate change amount?

Actually, I discovered if I change the miner to bfgminer in KNCminer, it is much slower than cgminer.

Yes, it is the latest firmware.

I tried to restore to the older version firmware, but it will not let me.  Cry

I have lost 10 GH/s in my Jupiter after upgrade to the latest firmware using cgminer.

If I am using bfgminer, I am only mining 350 - 500 GH/s.  Cry

I have change the pool, and cgminer is now running 688GH/s, yes when selecting bfgminer, it seems to be very slow.

OK, thanks for explaining the situation. If there is a bug in the new firmware, hopefully KNC will patch it soon. Sucks you can't go back to old firmware !

I know, there is a restore firmware button. But after uploading the older firmware, there is an error.

But at long as you stick with cgminer, you can still get 670 GH/s.

99.1 and 99.2 are supposed to be tuned in order to see an increase in hashrate.  Use this to tune your miner to get a nice boost in hashrate:

I have seen that before. But my config file doesn't look like the one in that post. So no joy for me.

Also there was a rumour they are going to have a firmware which makes the miner hash faster, so I am going to wait.
