Where? ebay?

I think it will be around $17,000 by Jan-Feb 2015.

So, I'm not sure at what point it will pass the $2000 mark... might be this year or it might be just a few days before it goes to the $17,000.

Only few medium mechants accepted Bitcoins and you can count them in one hand . When it will be a much more mass adoption it will hit giant numbers . So 2000$ / Bitcoin def this year .

If you follow the exponential trend line over the last 2 years, $2000 should be in Feb. But there is no telling, we could stagnate at this level for 6 months, then some great news hits, and we catch up to the trend line by the end of the year at 15K.

No I meant on the exchanges. lol. I dont think ebay is a place to buy btc, because of the paypal reversal.

I think it`ll hit, when btc price was at $100, and took short 2-3 months to go up $600 right? Just a wild guess.

Well given the fact the btc was near nothing, then breaking $100 to $200 was huge. So.. possibilities are endless.

Thank you for re-assuring me (:

With it hitting overstock. Then Newegg. And even Zynga. and potentially more places. I can definitely see it rising. to something like 2-5k by the end of this year. but one can only hope. we'll see.

It will for sure hit 2000$ by the end of the year, or maybe if there's mass adoption of bitcoin this year the price might even rise to 10k$

You have a solid point. I only know wordpress as the early adopters to accept payment, is there a list other big sites out there?

Overstock would be so huge.. esp can you imagine amazon or ebay.

I don't know, personally I see the high volatility being the main reason why it won't go above $2000.  Perhaps I'm just being irrational though, just seems crazy to possibly be that high in price!

Let's say $2000 by the end of the year although I tend to be pessimistic at the best of times  Smiley

I'd say it will definitely reach $2000, and likely $10K by the end of the year.   You have to think about where the value is now and how few users there actually are.   The user base is growing quickly and the price will grow with it.

Too much for what?

It's my broken-clock prediction for today. By the end of Feb 2015 we'll see.

I would say $2000 will be tested in 2014, $10000 will be tested in 2016.  The swings will be wild.  This has been fun to watch so far.

Well everyone definitely have wildly different opinions - will be good to see who's proved right (or wrong)  Grin
