I think it is a very good decision to ban crypto mining, 80% of all mining sites are fraud, fake and unreal and that is bad to the crypto currency society, we need to ban off all rippers and thiefs off blockchain technology.
I also believe not all mining sites will be barred, Google is going to investigate and ban all fakes one, just like twitter and facebook did with their advertising policies, they will all remove the bad eggs and promote the good ones.

I think it is because there are too many ICO projects to defraud people. The supervision of various countries is still not in place and it is easy to be deceived!

Its very good decision because most of mining projects doing scam and hype just because of this investors have no faith and creating problems for real investors and mining projects hopefully we will able to do some better in future with this decision

I don’t trust online mining sites anyway. I have heard of lots of scams through those sites so I don’t think this will have much of an impact. This goes along with the ban of cryptocurrency advertising on Facebook. But I think banning advertising is worse for cryptocurrencies than banning mining sites. Advertising could at least promote cryptos and even though some may be scams, I am sure there were many legitimate advertisements.

it is a good decision of course, what they were blocking was this 'google-bans-crypto-mining-browser-extensions-chrome'. which means they cared about their users and made this decision to prevent people to get hacked or scammed by using 3rd party software on their PC. also if we are looking at it right now,ONLINE mining is not profitable anymore because people used a high end hardware to do this work today. in other words, this thing is basically created for nothing except for phising and hacking.

Yes it is true google is banning crypto mining, also other platform like facebook, bing etc have chosen the same part to ban the crypto ads. Well like i did said, this will be the year of all crypto regulations and in the end, crypto will come out on top.

If you want to mine then you should mine directly from your own hardware instead of using those online mining sites. A good number of them are scams and with crypto gambling I don't trust it because it is way too easy to scam people and take all of their money because there is no way to track the money that is being used there

I think this is a fair decision on the part of Google since many have already fallen to scams and malware viruses. Most mining websites are scams anyway.

their ban is very similar to the recent ban in Facebook and Twitter, I think it's normal, will be more attentive to scam sites

Maybe they manually check if project is legitimate and approve it if it is. If I think again, I'm only seeing so called sponsored posts from ICOs that I liked their Facebook page. So maybe they allow only this tools that expand reach of each post so that it gets priority over other posts on your newsfeed.

Which is why you should just mine straight from your own hardware. I understand why google and other social media sites are putting these bans in place, they are way too many scams being carried out right now using cryptocurrencies. Since cryptos are mostly anonymous, it makes it the perfect tool for the scammers and these companies are just trying to do their best to curb the menace of scammers.
