Again, the news of possible errors in the code and attack of the hacker.
After a recent attack, which was no more than two months ago, I didn't sell anything.
Since I thought that developers know their business well and work on problems and fix bugs.
Today's attack, as I understood it, is connected with the same problem in the code ..... Not enough information yet.
But I've had enough.

For some reason it just seems like someone, somewhere does not just want the verge coin to do well, there is always something that is happening to it and that is just the beginning. the price has gone down so much and lot of people have cut their losses and gotten out of the coin. They need to get their act together and make sure that their coin is secure from now on

Verge is altcoin that become the biggest gainer in 2017, when started tradeable in Bittrex exchange the price just 1 sathosi, and the price was keep growth and give the biggest return in last year. Verge become the most popular privacy coin but with this case that being hacked, could be others coin will replace it. Now many trader and investor look in to new privacy coin that will make revolusioner called PeepCoin/ DAPS (DECENTRALIZED - ANONYMOUS - PAYMENT - SYSTEM).

This might be a vey sad news that happened to Verge. The developers of Verge should endearvour to fix the bugs to arrest the ugly situation we have right now. Those 3 features that make Verge vulnerable should be corrected. Thanks for the information.

Security is one of the greatest problem facing cryptocurrency. Until this issue is dealt with, if actually possible, we may not see mass adoption of cryptocurrency. For goodness sake, hacking is becoming too common with digital currency unlike fiat systems.

I don't even know why verge became so important in respect of market cap. It has always been a doubtful project and this is not the first time something like this happens. Illustrates the importance of actually doing research in the projects people invest in. I am thankful it has never been one of my holdings. After this, I don't really know how trust could be reinstated, especially with so many great projects out there.

Yeah this is what I feel, it's too sad on what happened in Verge.
Verge is become a popular altcoin because of the price was keep growth and give the big profits, that's why there some people want to steal that potential coin. I hope everything will be alright.

Yeah this is what I feel, it's too sad on what happened in Verge.

This is normal here online. When someone is making noise many people want to test it or to will look for an advantage. What is new here? Bitfinex, Mt. Gox some Ethereum affiliated groups and many more. But sometimes you are gonna think that this is better rather than it happens when it becomes bigger and mainstream.

This may be just a reason to decrease XVG price, due to it has been increased too much since later last year.
Hope XVG could go down to around 10x satoshi again so everyone can buy it (again)

this is why i laughed when i heard there is a partnership between PornHub and Verge and they plan on accepting this altcoin as payment! this is exactly the problem with doing something like that, which is accepting an altcoin. they are untested, weak, full of bugs and exploitation and a lot of unknown things that will come out if there is incentive enough for it.

you see bitcoin is not just a name and a first starter. it actually IS the best and strongest coin which is why it has the highest value and most number of merchant adoption. it is tested and reviewed by thousands of people many of whom are big in their own fields like cryptography and Hal Finney.

If you already experience this hack, better not do this for the third time. I suggest to sold all your verge holdings and select another coin or altcoin to hold that has a big chance that there was no hack attempt to be done. Better be careful on your investment, because we dont know when will the next hack attempt be done.
