So that new miners don't join their pools and just get a 404 all of a sudden with most of their coins taken from the owners.

It has happened way too often to me lately when mining new coins and it seems like people aren't giving enough of a shit to do anything about it.
Pool just goes down and everyone moves onto another, maybe makes a post about it but nothing major.
Scammers are getting away too easily with it and it's disgusting.

I've seen pools with 2% fee scam people. How fucking greedy do you have to be to do this? I doubt that having a pool up costs too much, and they receive a lot of coins with fees which they can exchange for btc sooner or later, yet they still have the need to scam people.

We need to get a list up either with trusted pool owners like dedicatedpools or some other known ones. Or one that discredits those that have been proven to be scammers (looking at you iceyhash).
