Hey folks, I've been watching bitcoin for a while now just out of curiosity on it's inflation and always kicking myself for not getting involved sooner. Anyway, I decided I'm going to try out some mining a little bit with my current gaming computer just to get the hang of it. Sounds like my best bet is to mine alt coins and convert to bitcoin. I figure if I get into it enough I'll look into investing in a mining rig as the elecricity is free for me atm.

An easy way to mine alt coins and convert to BTC is by using http://www.middlecoin.com/ with a scrypt miner. It will automatically mine the most scrypt coin and then pay you in Bitcoin once you hit 1 mBTC.
