I had a quick look to what faucets are and i'm interested to get my first satoshi to start learning more on bitcoin (Litecoin too )
by the quick look i found an ocean of referal chains where to checkout a single satoshi you have to make X referal...looks _{a bit} spam.
Are there other kind of faucets and giveaway to quickly get started for a smallest amount of bitcoin/litecoin?

I think the amount of time it takes to use the bitcoin faucets never pays off. It'll end up equating to something like 10 cents/hr

I do not agree. 2 faucet surfers, no referal, 2-4 hours a day, 25-30 $ in BTC in 6 weeks. That is what I have done for a start. Now I know that giveaway treads here in the alt coin forum gives awaya a lot more
